Will of James GANDER - Made and Proved 1809

In the name of God Amen. This is the last Will and Testament of me James GANDER of Noble Street in the City of London Victualler. I give devise and bequeath unto my loving wife Jane GANDER all and every my estate and effects of what nature or kind soever and the same may be and which I shall or may die possessed of or in anywise interested in, she paying thereout all my just debts funeral and probatory expenses, and with which I do charge the same. And I do recommend to my said wife that she give unto my Brother William GANDER a decent and suitable suit of mourning and such of my wearing apparel as she shall in her discretion think proper and I do hereby appoint my said wife Executrix of this my Will and do hereby revoke all former and other Will or Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twelfth day of June One thousand eight hundred and nine.

Jas.GANDER Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto:

Proved 1 Aug 1809 - by the Oath of Jane GANDER of No.14 High Street Islington Widow the Relict & Sole Executrix named in this Will was duly sworn as usual & that the Deceaseds Goods Chattels & [........] do and amount in Value to the sum of six hundred Pounds.

James GANDER the Testator died the 21st day of June last.
