Summary of Will

Catherine GANDER - of Queens Street, Pimlico in the parish of St. Luke Chelsea in the County of Middlesex.

.... To be buried in new burial ground of St. Lukes, Chelsea as near to my late cousin William STEBBING as conveniently may be ....

..... (after funeral debts etc) I give to my sister Martha BURG(?ESS) of Spo(with?) in County of Suffolk, Widow one hundred pounds sterling, .... wearing apparell, household and other linen, goods, furniture.....

Also similar to Mary BURG(?ESS) daughter of said Martha and £100 and 'my gold watch' to William BURG(?ESS) and John BURG(?ESS) sons of the said Martha.

... The life sum of £100 sterling which I give to my niece Hannah Elizabeth GANDER spinster now residing at Brentwood in Essex. The life sum of £100 to [..........] Rachel Susanna STEBBING daughter of George STEBBING late of Spowith aforesaid Surgeon the sum of £19-19s. I give to my executors hereinafter nameth(?) (and same to) Elizabeth ?CUNNING my servant as a reward [.......... ] faithful services.

Rest, Residue & Remainder of Estate (had some shares in Basingstoke Canal) to William (?BARKEN) of Highgate, Middlesex, Esquire and Edward (?BARRON) of Essex Street, Strand, Middlesex , Gentleman ... made Executors.

Codicil: barely legible

Will proved at London 10 January 1831.
