[Situation was that Henry was the son of the late ('six months since') Nathaniel GANDER, buttonmaker. Nathaniel had been married to an Elizabeth who had now remarried to a man named THORNTON. The court case appeared to be part of an action re unpaid bills on the part of one Henry FARRINGDON.]

July 1762: This case concerned the Administratix of the Will of John MILFORD late of Newtown in the parish of Boldre, Hampshire (one Susannah HICKS widow) who on 3 Jul (?)1738 borrowed of George GANDER then servant to and living with the said John MILFORD a sum of GBP100.

[ - These are very long & large documents(!) The case looks like a dispute over the repayment of this GBP100]
