Those I hold are mainly British - and to be more precise, English:
Copies of GANDER & GANDAR entries from the Births, Marriages & Deaths
Registration Indexes held by the GRO (General Registrar's Office) for England &
Wales from their start in the September Quarter of 1837 through to the
end of 2005.
Also GANDER and GANDAR entries from the National Indexes for Wills
and Administrations for England & Wales from 1858
Copies or notes of the entries of the Wills & Administrations for
the various Consistory, Archdeaconry and Commissary Courts of London
and Middlesex - for GANDER and GANDAR. The same for Surrey and Sussex.
I have various holdings on other counties of England. I've started an
index to what I have.
GANDER and GANDAR entries of baptisms and marriages from the International
Genealogical Index (IGI) - thanks to the Mormons. You can search many
of these for yourself on the
Family Search (link opens in a new window) Web
Site. If you're new to genealogy, do remember that, extensive though
it is, the coverage of the parish registers in the
IGI is NOT complete
by any means. Also the
IGI is still only an Index - it can only help one track down an event and
sometimes Indexes can be incorrect.
I also have the entries from the Mormons' 'British Vital Records Index'.
Many other entries from Parish Registers and Bishops Transcripts of
the City of London, Middlesex, Surrey, Dorset and of course from Sussex.
These records I have from the originals or from microfilmed copies and
some I have from various transcribed indexes which I have as yet not
